BHS Senior Completing Eagle Scout Project

Every year, industrious Boy Scouts who have received 21 merit badges begin work on a project that will help them get the final and highest badge that a scout can receive. This award is the Eagle Scout badge, which has been awarded to over two million young men since its inception in 1911. Local Boy Scout and BHS senior Nathan Rippin has chosen as his scout project to replace the decrepit boardwalk leading out to the Burlington High School ropes course. The new boardwalk will be wider and handicapped accessible. Once Nathan has completed his project, he will be able to go before the Eagle Council to see if he has earned his Eagle Scout badge.
