The Burlington Police Department has charged three people, two men and one women, on charges related to an April theft at a Burlington jewelry store that are suspected of perpetrating a number of thefts in the area.

Police Chief Michael Kent said in a statement that the three suspects are being charged in connection to an April 15 theft at Long’s Jewelers at 60 South Avenue. According to the statement, at approximately 4:20 a.m. police responded to the store after receiving a report that multiple suspects had smashed the front door glass of the business. Once inside they allegedly shattered several display cases and proceeded to steal thousands of dollars worth of jewelry.

After a lengthy investigation, which involved multiple police agencies in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, the Burlington Police Department secured warrants for the three suspects:

They charged Michael Meucci, 33, of Lowell, with Breaking and Entering Into a Building with the Intent to Commit A Felony, Larceny over $250, Malicious Damage to Property Over $250 and Conspiracy.

Police also charged Marc Wilson, 41, of Derry, N.H. with Breaking and Entering Into a Building with the Intent to Commit A Felony, Larceny over $250, Malicious Damage to Property Over $250 and Conspiracy.

Finally, Burlington police charged Lisa Lundstrom, 37, of Concord, N.H., with Breaking and Entering Into a Building with the Intent to Commit A Felony, Larceny over $250 and Conspiracy.

Police believe that this group is also responsible for at least seven other jewelry store break-ins over past few months and possibly other crimes as well throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire, the release states.

Currently Meucci and Lundstrom are in police custody on unrelated charges. Wilson is currently wanted by police and the Burlington Police Department has secured an arrest warrant for him.

“I applaud the work of the detectives involved in this case,” Chief Kent said. “It is through their hard work, the sharing of resources among many police departments, and the swift actions of the investigators that we are able move forward with the investigation into these three individuals.”
