Suspected Wanted in Jewelry Store Theft Arrested

A man who had been charged in absentia as a suspect in an April theft at a Burlington jewelry store, among other thefts, has been arrested. 

 

As reported on BNEWS, on June 9 Burlington Police charged Marc Wilson, 41, of Derry, N.H. with breaking and entering into a building with the intent to commit a felony, larceny over $250, malicious damage to property over $250 and conspiracy in connection with an April 15 theft at Long’s Jewelers at 60 South Avenue. 

 

Two others, Michael Meucci, 33, of Lowell, and Lisa Lundstrom, 37, of Concord, N.H., were also charged in connection to the theft and both were arrested. Wilson, however, remained at large until Friday, when he was arrested by members of the Massachusetts State Police and Pelham, New Hampshire police, in Lawrence. He was book at Lawrence Police Department, the Lowell Sun reports. 

 

Police believe that this group is also responsible for at least seven other jewelry store break-ins over past few months and possibly other crimes as well throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. 

 

Wilson was charged on Friday with being a fugitive from justice, violation of parole, receiving stolen property, attempt to commit a crime, two counts of breaking and entering nighttime, two counts of larceny over $250, destruction of property and conspiracy.

 

The charges came from Burlingotn, Lowell, Methuen, Andover and Salem, N.H.
