By: Rich Hosford

An old and mostly vacant set of buildings might soon be replaced with an office building.

According to paperwork filed with the Burlington Planning Department, BSC Group, Inc, on behalf of their client Iconic Capital LLC, is looking to tear down the two buildings at 328 and 330 Cambridge Street and build a new one-story office building.

One of the buildings in question is the two-story wood building that until recently was home of Given Erwin Florist. The building also houses a single apartment. The second building is a small one-story shed.

According to the special permit paperwork Iconic Capital is looking to tear down both structures and build a 21,500 square foot office building. The project also includes construction of two new access driveways, one from Cambridge Street and one from Chestnut Avenue.

Finally, for anyone wondering about Given Erwin Florist, they posted on their Facebook page on February 10 that they have moved to 165 Bedford Street.
