BHS Art Student's Design Won Contest Put on by Unique Sock Company

A Burlington High School art student’s design was selected by a new and unique sock company in a competition and will now be featured on a line of their articles.

According to a blog post by BHS art teacher Keith Mistler, the company, Noble Stitch, is a men's sock company that makes high-quality socks with unique designs. Interestingly their socks are made of bamboo fibers.

Their business model is to work with designers around the world to help design their socks, Mistler said. They recently ran a design contest and users voted for their favorite submissions.

Sophomore Emily Hopkins was voted as one of two winners of the Noble Stitch Design contest, Mistler said. Her sock design will begin to be manufactured and she will receive a cash award.

“Congratulations to Emily for this wonderful achievement,” Mistler wrote.
