Adult Coloring: Fourth Monday of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Burlington Public Library. Adult coloring has taken off recently and many say it is a soothing activity for those looking to take a break from the fast pace of modern life and now you have a chance to give it a try. This will be an evening of relaxed creativity and camaraderie. There will be light refreshments and a free drawing for a coloring book at their first meeting on January 25th. No need to register, just drop in. All materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own.


Teen Lounge: Fridays from 2:30 to 5 p.m. beginning January 8 at the Burlington Public LibraryDrop-in and “lounge” in the meeting room every Friday after school. They’ll have snacks, games, and crafts available or just drop-in to hang out with your friends. Stay for five minutes or the whole time, it’s up to you.


Winter Scrabble Club: Tuesdays from January 5 to February 23, at 3:45 at the Burlington Public Library. This program is for students in grades 4 to 8. Learn the game and improve your skills. 





Free Applications for Federal Student Aid Program: Sunday, January 31 at 1 p.m. at Burlington High School. High school seniors and their parents looking for guidance in applying for student aid are in luck. During this event parents and students will receive assistance completing FAFSA, access to experienced financial aid administrators, and FAFSA experts, available to answer FAFSA questions. They will also be given guidance on the financial aid process and next steps after filing the FASA. Parents MUST register at www.fafsaday.org.  



Parent and Child Paint Night: Friday, February 5 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.in Room 126 in the Senior Center. Parents and children will be guided in a no-pressure, step-by-step manner as they create their works of art and everyone will leave with an acrylic painting they can feel proud of. Pizza will also be served. The program is being put on by the Burlington Recreation Department and is for children ages 8 to 16.


Beatles Tribute Band: Friday, February 5 at 7 p.m. in the Fogelberg Performing Arts Center at Burlington High. Enjoy an evening of music from the legendary Fab Four. The Burlington Community Concert Series is hosting a performance by Beatlemania Magic, a Tribute to the Beatle. The group is a well-known Beatles cover band that performs in venues all around the country and internationally. The way they can look and sound like the original group has been called “uncanny.” Tickets range between $5 and $25 and can be purchased online at BurlingtonTheatre.com, by phone at 781-A-FUN-TIC and at the box office on the day of the concert. 


Adopt-A-Class Fundraiser: Saturday, February 27th. from 7:30pm- Midnight. At Son Of Italy, 168 Lexington Street, Woburn, MA. Don't miss entertainment & music provided by JimPlunkett. Trivia Night: "Let's Go Back To School": Friday, March 4th. Doors Open at 6:30p.m. Trivia Starts at 7:00pm. At Son Of Italy, Woburn. Come and let's enjoy questions about the movies, music, history, sport and more. Team costumes encouraged. Wear your best back to school look. Prizes for the winnig team as well as for the best costume and best spread table. Cash bar is available. Dont forget the extra cash for mulligans and raffles.
