Burlington Community Concert Series Presents 'A Holiday Pops Concert'

The following is a release from the Burlington Community Concert Series:

The Burlington Community Concert Series is pleased to announce that it will present A Holiday Pops Concert, featuring the Lexington Symphony, on Sunday, December 6. This special holiday event, the first of four concerts for the 2015-2016 season, will begin at 3:00 pm in the Fogelberg Performing Arts Center.

A holiday performance for families with children of all ages, the Lexington Symphony will present a whimsical afternoon that will include popular seasonal carols and sing-alongs. Founded in 1996, Lexington Symphony is a professional orchestra of devoted musicians who “share a passion for classical music, a commitment to community engagement, and a dedication to exacting standards of performance.” Under the direction of Jonathan McPhee, Lexington Symphony provides a special connection to community, a mission and approach that is also at the heart of the Burlington Community Concert Series.

Tickets for A Holiday Pops Concert, featuring the Lexington Symphony range from $5 to $25 and are available at, 781-A-FUN-TIC and at the door. All seats are reserved. Fogelberg Performing Arts Center is a fully-accessible venue located at 123 Cambridge Street on the campus of Burlington High School, Burlington, Mass.
