Cafe & Casual Dining Restaurant Looking to Open in The District

By: Rich Hosford

A new coffee shop and casual dining place is looking to join the big renovation project underway at The District, formerly New England Executive Park.

Pressed Café, which currently has one location in Nashua, New Hampshire, is scheduled to be before the Burlington Planning Board on Thursday for a special permit to open a 3,500 square feet restaurant in Building A of The District.

Pressed Café will be open seven days a week, offering breakfast all day, Panini sandwiches, made-to-order salads, house-made soups, local micro-roasted coffee, cold brew, espresso drinks, fresh smoothies, and cold pressed juice, a release states.

“Opening our second location at The District Burlington will give us the opportunity to reach a new community,” Roi Shpindler, owner of Pressed Café, said. “We hope to provide a space where employees at The District Burlington and local residents alike can connect over our fresh, clean food and local, micro-roasted coffee.”

According to the application the restaurant will have seating for 175 patrons, 50 of which will be seasonal.

“We’re excited to welcome Pressed Café and are thrilled that the company has chosen to join our community at The District Burlington,” said Andrew Gallinaro, senior vice president, director of asset management at National Development. “As we transform The District into a state-of-the-art workplace, Pressed Café will be another attractive restaurant option for tenants and provides even more collaboration space for our tenants.”
