Gordon Wins Re-Election Despite Burlington Results

21st Middlesex Incubment Ken Gordon, D-Bedford, held onto re-election in the face of a challenge by Republican Paul Girouard, Burlington, despite losing in Burlington and Wilmington in the 2014 state election. 

 

Gordon won the district, made up of Burlington, Bedford and Precinct 3 in Wilmington by 705 votes. He garnered 8,126ballots while Girouard took 7,421 votes. 

 

In Burlington, Girouard beat Gordon by 654 votes, 4,784 to 4,130 and in Wilmington with 743 votes to 537. However, Bedford made up the margin with 3,459 votes for Gordon and 1,894 votes for Girouard.
