Learn What to do in an Emergency at First Aid for Pets Program


You love your pets and don’t want any harm to come to them but veterinarian bills can be expensive, even for small issues.


The Burlington Public Library is hosting a Basic First Aids for Pets with Veterinarian Kathleen Hanson on Thursday, December 6 at 7 p.m. for pet owners who want to know what to do an emergency and possible save their animal friend a trip to the doctors.


“Learn steps you can take to save the life of your pet during an emergency,” a program description reads. “Dr. Hanson will describe what action to take if your cat or dog is bleeding, choking, has heat stroke, or is suffering from a broken toenail. She will also talk about what can be treated at home and when to seek professional help.”

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Burlington Public Library. Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.
