Support a School Supply Drive by Donating Items at the Burlington Mall


Help children in need have what they need to get a good education by donating school supplies and clothing. 


Simon Properties, owners of the Burlington Mall as well as numerous other malls, announced that select Simon Malls in Massachusetts and New Hampshire in collaboration will be a part of this year’s Supporting Our Schools initiative that will run now through Sunday, August 11. Supporting Our Schools, in conjunction with its community partner Big Brother Big Sister Foundation and Simon Malls, invite local residents to help underprivileged students and teachers throughout New England by donating school supplies and more while they get back to school.


“For a third year in a row, the Supporting Our Schools initiative, with partnership with NBC10 Boston, Necn, and Telemundo Boston, has been a huge success throughout local communities and for the first-time ever, Simon will be a part of the back to school community drive by providing donation drop-off locations throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire,” a release from Simon says. 


The following back to school items that are recommended (but not limited to):

- Backpacks and lunch boxes (new or gently used)

- Pencils, pens, markers, crayons, highlighters, etc.

- Rulers

- Notebooks, notebook paper, construction paper, computer paper, etc.

- Binders

- Stickers

- Post-It Notes

- Pencil cases, small storage containers, etc.

- Clothing, shoes, accessories (new or gently used)


Donations can be dropped off in the Burlington Mall near Simon Guest Services on the first floor.
