With the beginning of Fall the leaves turn to a myriad of colors and BHS opens its doors for the 2012-13 School year.  This means it is also the beginning of the Fall School Sports season.   There are many sports in need of coverage this Fall.

The list includes

Cross Country

Field Hockey

Golf

Soccer, both Boys & Girls

Swimming, Just Girls

Cheering

Football

Soccer

Volleyball

When one of Burlington's athletes makes one of those memorable plays You can help make sure the rest of Burlington gets to see it.  More than once if they want.   Its Fun, its easy, and it is up to You.

"But I don't have the time or skill to undertake such an endeavor, everything I take video of ends up looking like a blurry Picasso painting rolling down a hill" You say.   Have no fear! Basic coverage is only 3 steps away.

1.  Come to BCAT (our studios are at the back of BHS) and take our Camcorder class.  Its about an hour long, a mere 3600 seconds.  You will learn how to use a tripod and what type of shots to get at your sporting event.

2. Go to the Sporting event and video it.

3. Return the equipment and footage to the station.

We will add the beginng and end to you footage and put it on air on the edution channel Comcast 22, RCN 13, Verizon 40

"But I want to have Slow Motion Reverse angle Replays at half-time with Announcers, graphics and playerinterviews!" You say.  Ahhh, Basic Coverage not enough eh?  We also offer classes on editing so you can throw in all the bells and whistle you want to put into Your production.  We can help connect you to other volunteers that can help announcing, camerawork and other aspects of your now not basic coverage.

So whether you you just want to do the 1-2-3 basic coverage or are thinking of making the "Citizen Kane" of Field Hockey BCAT is here for YOU
